JENNIFER began her career in the cutting rooms of some of New York's most esteemed filmmakers, working on Woody Allen's Sweet and Lowdown, Small Time Crooks, and The Curse of the Jade Scorpion; Martin Scorsese's Gangs of New York; and Sidney Lumet's Strip Search, Find Me Guilty, and Before the Devil Knows You're Dead.

Lilly’s credits as an Editor include Electrick Children, selected as the opening night film for the Generations program of the 2012 Berlinale and winner of the FIPRESCI award at the Off Plus Camera IFF; Helena from the Wedding, screened in the Narrative Competition at the 2012 SXSW Film Festival; Sorry, Thanks, a 2008 IFP Narrative Lab project, Adrienne Shelly Director's Grant recipient, and SXSW 2009 world premiere; and Were the World Mine, which was showcased at over 150 international festivals and earned Lilly the James Lyons Award for Best Editing at the Woodstock Film Festival.

In addition to feature films, Lilly edits episodic television and short films, including Academy Award winner The Shore, directed by Terry George.  She also directs and edits advocacy films for aid organizations, developing projects in Romania, Uganda, Zambia, and Kenya.  She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University School of the Arts, an Editor for the Sundance Institute's Directors Lab, and a resident of Brooklyn, NY.
